Frequently asked questions

Is a request binding?
No. You send a request with no obligation. You receive a quote and an agreement from Nordic Gig, and nothing is binding until you approve the agreement.
Can I book a DJ, equipment and a technician at the same time?
Yes. Put everything in the booking cart – DJ, artist, sound, lighting, technician, transport and setup – and send one request. You get one quote and one invoice.
How is the equipment rental price calculated?
Prices are per day including VAT. For several rental days a rental factor applies, so the daily price goes down the longer you rent. The cart shows an estimate; the final price is in the quote.
What does “Price on request” mean?
The price depends on date, location, duration or setup. We calculate it and send you a quote.
Is the equipment I see actually available?
Availability comes from the same stock system we use for all our jobs. When you send the request, we hold the equipment for a short period while we prepare the quote.
Who is behind Nordic Gig?
Nordic Gig is operated by Nordic Sound & Light AS. We approve all partners, own the rental stock and are the contracting party and invoicing party for bookings.
How do I pay?
You pay by invoice once the quote is approved. Payment terms are stated in the quote and the agreement.
I'm a DJ, artist or technician. How do I join?
Register as a partner, create your profile and send it for approval. Once approved you can publish it and receive jobs.
